Polar King has upgraded its pallet duty floor to withstand 5,000 lbs / square foot. The company has long offered units for use with pallet jacks, but has made further improvements to the process that have increased the load capacity and further advanced the rugged nature of the floor. As has been the case since 1982, Polar King offers an industry leading 10-year warranty on all of its floors, as well as the entire structure of the walk-in. Most walk-in manufactures will default to a concrete floor applications that require the use of pallet jacks, but temperature difference in refrigerated applications often cause cracking and/or heaving of the concrete floor, however with a Polar King unit the floor is actually built into the seamless design from the beginning. Being a part of the original walk-in construction eliminates all concern of heaving and eliminates bacteria related issues associated with cracks in concrete.
